About Astral Tequila
Astral Tequila is totally unique and reminiscent of the way tequila was made 150 years ago before it was industrialized. We hope you enjoy our celebration of this beautiful culture and spirit. It is made from agave grown at high-altitude on a single organic estate in the mountains. The agave are harvested and roasted in a traditional stone oven. (See below) Native yeast fermentation takes eight times as long as conventional fermentation. We ferment with all of the bagazo (solids) to better highlight what the agave plant has to share. After fermentation Astral is pot distilled two times to reach 92 proof.
Astral Metodo Tradicional
- 2 oz Astral Tequila
- .5 oz Dolin Genepy des Alpes
- .5 oz Lemon Juice
- 2 cucumber slices (+1 for garnish)

Muddle the cucumber slices, then add the rest of the ingredients.
Shake and fine strain into a chilled coupe.

Earthy French Genepy and fresh cucumber brighten this festive fizz fashioned to highlight the flavor profile of Tequila and Champagne made using century-old production processes.
