The Allaire Royal Gold Margarita at DÔA features premium Allaire Collection Privée Tequila, a relatively new brand that we at Tequila Aficionado have nominated as a “brands of promise” (video review filmed in April and coming May 17, 2017).
Served in a Waterford Crystal Margarita Glass, rimmed with hand-harvested Sal de Ibiza Fleur de Sel, garnished with 24K Gold Flakes and 24K Gold encrusted lime wedge. 3 oz. Allaire Collection Privee Tequila
1 ½ oz. Fresh squeezed premium lime juice
1 oz. Grand Marnier Cuvee du Centenaire – 100 Year Anniversary
Shaken over purified spring ice,
Strained into a 24k Gold plated Shaker,
- Coat half the crystal glass rim with hand-harvested Sal de Ibiza Fleur de Sel

Aged Crystal Tequila: The super-premium Allaire Crystal Aged Tequila comes from 100% select Blue Tequilana Weber Agaves from the Los Altos Region in Jalisco, Mexico. The production includes slow cooking at lower temperatures for at least 48 hours to achieve a balance of sweetness and true agave flavor. Produced in small batches using only the heart of the distillation, Allaire is free of any additives aimed at respecting its true essence. The spirit is then aged at least 6 months in Bourbon Oak Casks and then filtered with a proprietary process to give it a characteristic crystal tone.
Sal de Ibiza Fleur de Sel: One of the unique elements in the Royal Golden margarita that you might not recognize is the salt rim that compliments the cocktail and the Allaire Tequila. For over 2,700 years, this premium sea-salt has been harvested in the saline fields on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. The island’s inhabitants have always been very proud of their marine salt, regarded as one of the best of its kind. The supreme “Queen of Salts” is hand-harvested in the Nature Reserve of the “Parc natural de ses Salines d’Eivissa”, is the “Fleur de Sel” (Blossom of Salt). Unique in taste and texture, it is a rare and precious delicacy.
