Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infante and the legendary Javier Solis often portrayed gallant singing cowboys suffering from unrequited love and heartbreak. Those definitive black and white movies also gave a glimpse inside the iconic cantinas, the first real tequila bars, where these films’ most memorable musical moments occurred.
